No lectures, exercises or practical courses will take place on the premises of the university starting on March 16, 2020. However, where possible, lectures and exercises are to be carried out by switching to virtual teaching/ distance learning/ home learning via digital channels.
Examination operations will be maintained in compliance with the hygienic rules of conduct, as far as the local (regional) situation allows.
Excursion events and university sports will be suspended or cancelled until further notice.
The Montanuniversitaet Leoben makes every effort to ensure that students are not disadvantaged by the current situation.
All planned major events (congresses, cultural and discussion events) with participant numbers of over 100 persons will also be cancelled. This also applies to the "Academic Celebration" on April 3, 2020.
The general research and administrative operations at the Montanuniversitaet Leoben are to be maintained until further notice, irrespective of the measures to be taken.
For the time being, all measures mentioned above are valid until the beginning of the Easter holidays (6th April 2020).
