Last week, Professor Clemens Holzer (Institute of Polymer Processing) and Professor Raul Bermejo (Chair of Structural and Functional Ceramics) were at the renowned European School of Materials (EEIGM) in Nancy, France, to share their knowledge with students in the fields of sustainable materials and innovative construction methods. In two lecture sessions, around 20 EEIGM students were given valuable insights into the topics of recycling polymers and designing with ceramics.
The EEIGM is a French engineering university that is part of the Université de Lorraine. It offers a five-year program of study that is offered by seven universities in the EU (including universities in Germany, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, France), including Austria.
The collaboration with the EEIGM makes it possible to network scientific findings and technical innovations across Europe and to set new standards in the training of future engineers.
