Montanuniversität Leoben enables particularly talented and commited school pupils to attend lectures. Once they finish their high-school (Matura), their completed lectures at university are officially recognised. This programme is an initiative by "Young Science-Zentrum für die Zusammenarbeit von Wissenschaft und Schule" (Young Science Centre for Cooperation between Science and Schools).

This programme has enabled pupils to begin their degree, intensify their in-depth knowledge and to shorten the length of their university studies.

Students can choose almost any degree and they do not need to pay fees. The students are guided by a mentor from the Young Science Centre.
