We are pleased to announce the start of the Sustainability Month March at Montanuniversität Leoben. As a university with key competences in the fields of "Advanced Resources", "Smart Materials" and "Sustainable Processes", we are aware of our responsibility to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices.
The major social challenges of our time in the areas of resources, climate, energy and the environment require us to adapt our social behaviour, but also the orientation of our university. Our scientists are therefore developing technical and scientific methods to solve today's challenges. In teaching, we equip our students with the tools to tackle these environmental problems and prepare them for their future key role in improving our environment.
Throughout the month of March, we invite you to participate in a series of events, workshops and discussions designed to raise awareness of sustainability and provide opportunities for action.
We believe that sustainability is not just a destination, but a journey that requires collective effort and ongoing commitment. By joining together as a community, we can leverage our expertise and resources to address global sustainability challenges and create a more resilient and equitable world for future generations.
Whether you are a student, faculty member, researcher or staff member, there are numerous ways to get involved and make a difference. In this way, we are actively working to shape our future sustainably under the motto "moving together". During Sustainability Month, there will be plenty of inspiration and opportunities for networking.
