Information technology

The painting "The Next Rembrandt" shows a portrait of Rembrandt van Rijn.

Art = Artificial?

In this case, the parable is true!

In the painting "The Next Rembrandt", the master himself never held the brush over the canvas, but it was printed with the help of artificial intelligence. Experts fed it all of Rembrandt's available brush strokes beforehand and the AI calculated something like Rembrandt's "artist DNA". According to art historians, only one important feature is missing: the shine on the tip of the nose.

And that's just the beginning - what else AI can do and what you need IT know-how for in your studies, you can find out from our students live in the computer science units.
